    I think another key thing to do is ask them to a list of their clients (not all of them obviously…) and their targeted keywords. The number of times a SEO company will claim “we got company X to the number 2 position for this keyword”, only to discover they are actually on page 5. Disappointing.

    I think is important to ask what kind of a method he will use for seo: white hat or black hat, link farming or quality content, hidden content or quality links, meta keyword stuffing or guest blogging.
