25 Stunning Animal T-Shirt Designs – An Inspiring Collection!

A graphic designer’s soul passion is to convert ideas and thoughts into meaningful creations. We graphic designers spend our careers designing all kinds of graphic design stuff for our clients like logos, websites, brochures and stationery designs. But ever wondered designing for your own self for a change? Honestly speaking, it feels even better than working on a professional project.

The creative designs and illustrations that graphic designers come up with, can also be applied on t-shirt designs as well. This trend of t-shirt designing has grown at a fair bit of pace over the recent years, so much that many different categories of t-shirt designs have evolved. I came across some wonderful animal designs on t-shirts and decided to compose a collection of my own as well.

Three Wolf Moon is hilarious because of the song. Batman and Robin one’s not bad. I designed a velociraptor tee via my link and someone also designed a Velociraptor Awareness Day tshirt that I like, I think on Zazzle.

I love the lion shirt and the background hue is just really amazing. Great effect on the 2nd insect shirt; it feels like the spider is going to jump right out of the shirt at any moment.

How were they designed? drawings then put into photoshop? I have a few tshirt designs I would like to get printed, how would I go about getting that done?

    Thanks

T-shirt designs are great for creative freedom and self expression. My favourites are definitely the the flourescent tiger and the llama. I love how different each design is despite all being the same subject.

Thanks for the link back to my A – Z of Animal Tees Charlie! I see quite a few of them made it into this post! :)

I find it interesting that a number of comments show a love of the Lion one which looks like the tee wearer… I find that more a comment about “presentation” of the t-shirt over the tee design itself. Had the image been cropped and only the design was visible, I wonder if the reaction would have been different…

To Andy Colclough – check out the blog & podcast Tees In A Pod… a great resource for those thinking of starting out in the online tee biz. It just happens to be the original source of inspiration for this blog. :)

Teetower: I *love* your political velociraptor t-shirt. Only thing I’d suggest is updating the design since vraptors (and likely most therapods) were covered in feathers.

As for the article, I liked the idea, but found the examples, wanting a bit. What I love about this blog, esp. with logo discussions, is how images and lettering can communicate beyond the obvious image.

Going back to Teetower’s raptor, there you have an animal image that is also communicating something beyond the image.

I mean, these aren’t exactly the best or most thought provoking, but I like how they play on expectations, then twist ‘em a little…

Spiders are not insects. Under your “Insect T Shirts”, all you have are spider shirts. Spiders are not insects. Awesome shirts though!
