Colors of Black and White Photography - U gonna love it!

I always believed that only colorful and vibrant posts have the ability to attract viewers, guess I was wrong. Few days back while browsing the net I stumbled across such beautiful pictures in black-and-white, that I could not stop myself from appreciating this art without colors.

View this excellent job by different photographers with patience and new perspective, trust me, you won’t regret it…Check this out!

Do these pictures prove you that we don’t need a variety of vibrant colors all the time to express ourselves or you are still not convinced with the beauty of black-and-white?

The New York City photo (1st on the page) is actually from my website, not the one currently linked.

Thanks.

Hi Charlie,
First up - thank you for stopping by the GritFX blog and viewing the black and white photographs that I posted.

I’m pleased you chose to leave the comment with the link to this selection of photos - and yes, they prove to me that you don’t need colour - but I’ve always been fond of B&W. Both options have their place - but I think black and white can feel a little more of the mood that was present when shot.

“Sensuous Lady by Michele Clement” is one of my favourites that you posted. I love the distortion, and have actually attempted a number of similar photos - none of which ever resulted in an image like this example!

And dotted man is a great example of what would NOT work as a colour image in my opinion… unless the shot was almost monotone in colour.
