First up - thank you for stopping by the GritFX blog and viewing the black and white photographs that I posted.

I'm pleased you chose to leave the comment with the link to this selection of photos - and yes, they prove to me that you don't need colour - but I've always been fond of B&amp;W. Both options have their place - but I think black and white can feel a little more of the mood that was present when shot.

"Sensuous Lady by Michele Clement" is one of my favourites that you posted. I love the distortion, and have actually attempted a number of similar photos - none of which ever resulted in an image like this example!

And dotted man is a great example of what would NOT work as a colour image in my opinion... unless the shot was almost monotone in colour.</description>
