Being a Female, What is your Clothing Style?

35 Conceptual Black and White Photography – Concepts captured!!
Capturing pictures is one thing but incarcerating moments with a concept embedded in them is the true art of professional photography. There are many genres of photography that require specialized skills and practice, like selective color photography and high-speed photography. Another innovative category is conceptual photography where the artist aims to capture a concept or an idea.

Conceptual pictures have a certain logic and reason embedded within them. This technique can be either achieved via computer editing or working manually by putting the things in place which is the subject of the final photograph. The key is the placement of those things that build the concept and idea of the image.

Today’s post displays the pictures that blend the technique of conceptual photography and black & white photography:

Nice but very predictable pics. I like “Life is life”, though.

I agree with everyone above. Excellent collection.

So much of today’ advertising is missing the conceptual element. It’s all so dry and straightforward, void of spirit, soul, and sex appeal.

But I think we’re quickly headed back toward conceptual advertising – photography with an inherent friction and message, with a headline that adds a surprise third element. It’s an easy way to shine through the dull and go past the dim.

You’re ahead of the wave. Thanks again.

A lot of today’ marketing is missing the conceptual element. It’s all so dry and straightforward, void of spirit, soul, and sex appeal.

Are these from an 80′s advertising portfolio? The best photo here is the lovely asian lady

Wow… Amazing how images could have so much power and how they can be so LOUD!! I loved “Window”. Its as if how we live and what we see in life, is limited and bound in by the views of other peolpe and how they see us.

  1. Ashraf On December 18th, 2012 at 12:00 pm
