Being a Female, What is your Clothing Style?

Earthquakes, Tsunami, Floods and all other natural disasters are a constant reminder for the humanity that we are facing a massive calamity…Global Warming. The phenomenon of Global Warming explains the rising of Earth’s average temperature, resulting rise in sea levels. Even though we study about global warming and its after-effects in schools and colleges, but are comfortably numb and unresponsive to this global social issue.

Since we all live in the same world, responsibility lies on each one of us to control this menace. Regardless of country, color or creed, this is a problem on which the whole world must unite to resolve. As graphic designers, we can also play a part by spreading awareness of global warming through our skills of graphic design. Print advertisements that spread awareness of global warming are one place where designers can use their creativity to play their part in this fight against this global threat.

In order to create awareness, I have amassed a collection of 30 creative print ads that are responsive towards the issue of Global Warming.

Great collection of ads for very noteworthy causes. I especially think the WWF homeless animals ads provide very strong and creative visual representations of the loss of animal habitats due to global warming. Kudos to all of the designers!

Most of those ads are harsh but without making them so harsh most of the people won’t start thinking about the problems.

My favorite of this selection is Lungs, because of colors and that it feels like a real place

A fantastic collection of both thought provoking and visually engaging outcomes. I feel this is a great topic for creativity and such a worthwhile cause that has the ability to make people think and change peoples views through design. I love the ‘WWF: Lungs’ and the ‘WWF: Homeless Seal’ ads because they are extremely striking and creatively well executed.

    After seeing this I :
    -turned of my light
    - turned off my fan
    - turned off my bedside light
    - told my friends to do the same.

I want my kids to see this world.

These photos are absolutely gorgeous, I liked very much the bear of white roofs, but the homeless seal made me feel so sad… I think that photos like these deserve to be exposed in a gallery!

These ads do convey such strong imagery. Some of it takes a little longer to understand, like the last one on ecology. The ones like Greenpeace that clearly show the action to be taken – switch off A/C – are brilliant. Simple and but clear action points!
Thanks for putting together this collection- its great visually as well with such positive impact!

These ads are super powerful and they really get the point across! I love how creative they are and they are really outside of the box. I’ve seen some pretty creative ads and posters from FIDM graphic design students and these are just as great :) Thanks so much for sharing!

The homeless animal ones by WWF are just great… I like their sort of dystopian feel. Lots of the other ads aer like a utopia on the cusp of being destroyed by global warming, the WWF ones are much more effective I think because they indicate that the problem is ALREADY here…

This collection is fantastic. I still find it remarkable how so many people refuse to believe that global warming is happening.

These are tragic – great examples of how effective design can be more than a tool for selling products, but for spreading world-changing ideas

This is so sad that whole world is suffering from global warming problems and day by day these problems are increasing. One thing that comes to my mind by seeing these pictures is, if we take some efforts to reduce global warming, then the world would become a better place to live. Nice post.

The “Legambiente: Global warming” ad campaign looks pretty great and would make people think seriously about the effect of global warming. For me it’s the most effective one among the others at the top.
