I love going to Google and seeing what the Google logo is for the day. Very creative, and maybe I can make my own projects from the site and see what I can come up with!

Great compilation! One clarification – the March 20th logo was actually celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, a book by children’s author/illustrator Eric Carle’s. http://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/google-logo-celebrates-very-hungry-caterpillar-1649950.html

I didn’t realize some of those logos variations were country specific. Probably why I had never seen a lot of them! Thanks for this interesting post.

The recent Gandhi logo was great, although it is strange to see such figures as he and MLK commemorated with a logo design. The one with the fossil is sweet.

Google is not only the brainwave for webmasters but for all designers as well. As we can see the logo’s in this post how well designed and balanced they are. Truly suitable designs for these event but which I like the most is “ May 20, 2009 Scientists unveil fossil of Darwinius masillae” and the one which was designed for their 11th anniversary.
