While tootling around the blogosphere yesterday, unconsciously I started observing the creative logos of different graphic design blogs. It is always fun to see how artistically these creative gurus play with their logos. The best part of designing a logo for your blog is that you are not bound to follow an endless list of instructions (like the one given by your client Well, here is an inspiring compilation of logos from the magnetizing world of graphic design. Surely, you must have appreciated many of these logos earlier but trust me it was hard to skip them from the list. However, I tried to highlight some new logos rather than repeating the pet ones which we are always praising

@CYNICDESIGN i agree these are really not the best collection of logo designs out there. I have seen a more interesting and exciting selection of logo design from this blog before. Maybe the title of this should be ‘A selection of badly design logo’s.
-
Outlaw is Cowboy font or something like that? It’s neat but pretty much overly used.

Cool logos, especially ‘Creative Latitude’.Why don’t you put the ‘Graphic Design Blog’ first?.
-
I am going to have to agree with some of the others. I think there are a few nice logos here, but realistically there are several weak ones as well. Randa Clay Design & Just Creative Design do nothing for me and I think are pretty weak and uncreative. RCD almost looks like it came from powerpoint or some microsoft product. JCD is just not creative and actually would be very poorly read on any small promo item- say a pen.
Cameron Moll, Creative Latitude, Creative Behavior & Swiss Miss are all pretty good though. So, 23 impressive logos – not so much. 4-6 impressive logos spattered between 15-19 so-so logos might be a more accurate title.
-
This is a good collection illustrating a range of creative ability. Jacob Cass and Tina Eisenberg are at the top, and then there’s the obvious ones at the bottom.
I’d hardly call the whole collection impressive (most is either too clichéd or just not clever at all), but from a philosophical viewpoint it’s cool to see the gamut of logos and the range of other designers.
-
@huet design – the font is Bleeding Cowboys. Great font, but definitely over used. I figure Danny got to it before the metaphorical design explosion, though.
Regardless, it probably works better for his design than most instances of its use!
-
When a company has sa good name it always helps the design
-
I have to agree, not the best collection. Some are decent like bitbox and cameron moll. not fond of most of the others.
-
Bittbox and creativebits have the orange feel
. My all time favorites!
Work Up is interesting too btw. It’s a nice idea to put them all in this great list Charlie
-
Well I must add that i don’t usually make my comments based on other viewers opinions but I really can’t say much..
However, I do strongly agree that the OUTLAW logo is like others i have seen but,
Whats up with the POSITIVE SPACE logo..
If you wouldn’t of placed the name above I would of never figured this one out!
I have made some ugly logos but this one is the cream of the pot…. :,>

Some of them are pretty good but nothing really outstanding here. Positive Space is potentially clever, but the font is not very legible.
-
Thank you for the compilation of design blog logos. Although, I do have to agree that some of them are marginal designs at best. Favorites? The Dieline. LeaLea. Swiss Miss. Beyond that, nothing really strikes me as the best design ever.

Nice collection. I agree with Cynic though. I like Danny a lot but, that logo isn’t a eligible logo to be featured here. Unless your Listing Blog Logo’s?

I agree with Heuts design. The logos are great, but I wouldn’t say impressive.
-
When will we start realizing that there is more to a logo than typing out a ‘cool’ font? Are you kidding me with this ‘Outlaw’ logo? There was ZERO concept behind it.
Being a designer is more than just knowing how to download a free font and type it out. It is about concept. It is about knowing your audience. It is about being creative. For those who claim to be designers please remember this: GRAPHIC DESIGN EXISTS WITHOUT COMPUTERS.

Nice collection!
Some of them are really great…

Wow, some really harsh words here.
Not going to get involved with previous comments, but I will say that ‘woork up’ is strong, bold and clean logotype. Have always loved it’s simplicity. You can’t miss it, it’s adaptable to many environments. It just look’s strong.
Always like ’swissmiss’ logo when in context specifically on her blog. It’s a nice typemark based on our favourite font. Doesn’t really need anything else. The word says it all.

Good assortment of logos. There are plenty more out there. I like the logos with simple but effective “icons” with the text. These designs are pretty nice.
-
Awesome designs, very creative I really enjoy the letterpress cards, they have such a nice fit and finished look. Great Post thank you.
-
Pro Blog Design and Creative Latitude are definitely my favorites, keep up the good posts!

I love it.I was wondering this kind of stuff only.Really very awesome stuff here.It got me wondering what our logo would look like as 3D graffiti.
-
Not the best collection i’ve seen, but I like some of them.
-
thank you for sharing it and that was an impressive graphic design logos collection
-
I didn’t see mine.
-
You probably have to be a “big player” to get your own logo up there.
-
I really like “just creative design” and I like his blog too. There’s a lot of useful information for graphic designers.
-
Bleeding Cowboys is quickly joining Papyrus and Copperplate Gothic as one of the most overused fonts out there

Hmm. You really lost me at Outlaw Design Blog.
Nothing personal, but that’s the opposite of a good logomark.
Basically an illegible font with a confused palette over an extraneous background texture. It makes no sense.
Swiss Miss, yes.
Bit Box, yes.
JCD, maybe.
Not really feeling any of the other designs.
