I love these. Very interesting concept. My favorite of them all is the apple logo with the windows logo inside. Very unique take on these.

Great post and a great article. the main feeling for this work is that they are great pieces of graphic design and are very visually appealing. Also the message behind them is great. An excellent mash-up of two brands in the same market place. Sometimes very different companies with a very different ethos and ideals but sometimes very similar in a lot of respects.

To me, the real creative genius is the concept of switching the ‘fact’ around with the ‘perception’ and seeing who really sees the juxtaposition: do we see the ‘coke’ inside the pepsi logo, or do we glance at the logo and just see ‘pepsi’.

Excellent execution of course, including taking it to print as opposed to just leaving it digital: much more tactile.

I love the concept of taking a logo n twisting into another idea. the apple was the best.

Some really brilliant artistic talent here. This is art with a message, or is it?

Love it, we did a doubletake here! Just wondering what Coke and Pepsi are thinking… :?

strange because at first glance some people will not notice any change on subtle some of the more subtle switches. Like the mind had been numbed from all the bombarding from adverting.

I love this concept! They really make you stop and think!
And to be honest when I first saw the image of the coke v pepsi designs, it wasnt until I started reading that I noticed what was actaully going on here!

Creative and interesting? YES! But I was disappointed to see this is just using little logos to make the shape of a competitor logo. I was expecting more of a mash-up.

And my answer to hagen is that no matter the images making up the logo, I see the logo. It’s like pixels making up an image – they might be red, green, and blue, but together they make the image.

they are fine…but just the small logos turning up to be a big one…some more mind game was required here….over all ..very nicely done and clean edges and finish..

It’s funny how familiar brands are, and how you immediately know when they’re out of context.

Designers who understand how brands can be familiar and toyed with can have a lot of fun.
I want to see more of these!
