Graffiti, the most controversial art form has become a complex and diverse visual culture with its own language, standards, categories and history. Now the traditional graffiti art has been contrived into attention-grabbing graphic clichés, to leave a lasting cultural mark. The creativity of the graffiti artists has expanded into many art forms, but the optical illusion is the most interesting part. Using the 3D art form, these artists play a trick on the mind using size, shapes, and lines.

Urban graffiti art can make you doubt your eyes. Don’t trust my words? Just check some of these best graffiti optical illusions ever captured. Enjoy!

My favourite would be with the Batman :) Looks very natural.

I think this is the best street art that was ever created. It has soul, feel and atmosphere. Way better than simple graffity.

  1. boss On June 16th, 2010 at 5:01 pm

    top notch! absolutely stunning!

  1. Jeph On June 18th, 2010 at 7:14 am

It’s funny to me when people mention the stairs being one of the more unique ones just because I seem to see it as one of the most simple pieces on this page. The thing I want to see the most would be to go there and look at the art from the opposite angle. Since the pieces are done with certain parts extended to give the illusion of depth perception, viewing it from the reverse angle must really make it look messed up and hard to understand.

  1. aleex On June 18th, 2010 at 4:56 pm

the batman and robin one was amazing, i sat for a few minutes just admiring it, really. shit was crazy cool. and i adore people who can do stuff like this, ♥

  1. Armando On June 19th, 2010 at 6:15 pm

I’ve been into graffiti art for 12 years and i’m impressed.Every piece is great!

  1. Detail Art Ink On June 30th, 2010 at 3:14 am

AMAZING!!! Creative, And Skilled Pieces!! 10/10

  1. faith On July 25th, 2010 at 11:47 pm

God can you imagine being able to do that? Talented stuff.
As you can see this stuff if technically graffiti, however it is an art form. which leaves the question, should graffiti really be a punishable offence. i don’t think so. Offensive graffitit maybe but there are some amazing artists out there who deserve to be able to express themselves without the fear of being caught and punuished.
