Thanks for sharing. A lot of wonders and blunders here.
-
You certainly had me asking myself “WHAT IN THE WORLD WERE THEY THINKING!?”
I can even see the reasoning behind some – like “Unwigged & Unplugged” – I imagine they couldn’t find a group photo they all liked of themselves, so some poor designer was asked to combine 2 photos and didn’t have a clue how to remove the extra hand! Or just over looked it! Shocking!!
Thanks… you provided me with my morning laugh!
-
I don’t see anything wrong with the Torchwood image honestly, top hand’s pinky is right next to the bottom hand’s thumb which anyone can accomplish by putting your hands on top of one another palms down.
-
Not that it matters but the picture of Tiger and Phil wasn’t a mistake but an optical illusion. It was discussed in the comments of the picture and had links to the photographer that took it with the other photos he took at the same time.
The picture of Beyonce is also just a weird angle. When you see the other photos that go with that you can see her backup dancers are wearing the same outfit and cause it to look like an extra hand because of the angle. It was also discussed in the photo comments.
And finally, the picture from Spinal Tap’s website(Unwigged & Unplugged) is under debate as to if it’s really bad photoshop or just their humor based on their fake band.
-
I must say that if You have not highlighted those mistakes I would of never even noticed them..
How someone said earlier must have an Eagle Eye to spot them..
I think it takes great ability to make even those with the errors… I suck @ photoshop!

I liked the blunders best – amusing to see the things that were missed.
Must say, however, that some of the wonders truly impressed me with their creativity.
Natural Mineral Water – Watermelon,
GreenPeace and the Ad for Toronto World Cup were among my favorites.
-
I really like the photoshop images, the ones that are bad are really bad and it amazes me that these weren’t picked up on before they were published. But the good photoshop images are really good high quality images.
-
I definitely do believe Photoshop is not an easy tool to master but if these have been modified using the software, the jobs needed a second eye. Loved the wonders section, actually enjoyed each piece because the message in those ads were not only memorable, but some of them also had a simple, clean, and to the point message.
-
Your posts are always so fun to look at. It’s like an explosion of fun, each and everytime.
-
These were great — both the blunders and wonders! The talent (and carelessness) out there is amazing.
-
These are very well done. I can’t believe some of the ‘mishaps’ on the first ads.
-
This is an entire list of good reasons not to rush a designer! Some of those mistakes are AMAZING.
On the wonders though, the yoga one is a bit disturbing….
Nice collection.

Some mistakes were obvious, like the hands but some others like the “Street Gear” and “Azule” were so hidden that it took me a while to find without the description of the mistake. Excellent job!

I wonder about the carrot scorpion one. Is it really Photoshopped? To me it looks like actual food art.
