Over this long weekend, grocery shopping was on top in my to-do-tasks but as usual I failed to buy the entire essentials in my first trip. Actually, it happens with me always…while dragging my trolley around in different sections of the supermarket; I couldn’t stop myself from buying products in amazing packagings. Have you ever bought something just because of its package? I always do this and that is the reason that I run out of money and come back home buying irrelevant things.

To share my admiration for creative packaging, which madly tempt me to buy them, I have collected 45 most colorful and appealing package designs. No wonder, graphic design have provided new look to advertising and branding but the creative concepts showcased below will drive you crazy….they are remarkable. I am sure; next time when you are off for your grocery shopping, you will certainly end up buying any of such amazingly packaged products instead of your required stuff.

These are really nice package designs. And I admit, even though I am a designer, it is often tempting to buy a product because of the way it looks!

a lot of these are great! i’d like to think that if a company is putting lots of effort into their package design they’ve got the product to back it up.

All of them are quite nice. I like the “King of Pop” the best though! I think good packaging doesn’t necessarily mean a good product, but if a company has enough money to throw at great design concepts like these, it usually means they already have a good product that is selling well. However, companies just starting out could try awesome packaging for a bad product, and the consumer can decide if those are worth the price, because the product will most definitely be more expensive as the company will want to make up for all the money spent on packaging! :) Great post!

You know this made me really, really thirsty, haha. I think my favorite designs are the top coke bottles with the patterns and the cream carton things.

Nice although I’m not sure I’d drink the cider, I prefer my cider traditional and rustic with chunks of apple.
