Being a graphic designer, photography has always intrigued me a lot. Just like graphic designing, professional photography is also a very difficult but equally interesting career. It involves great efforts and labors on the part of a photographer to capture the moments with their devices in a manner that is attractive and compelling. As if the selective color photography I posted last week wasn’t enough to bog our minds with sensation, I have come across yet another kind of photography that will wash you away. Yes! I’m talking about wave photography…a technique of taking pictures where the photographer catches the ferocity and viciousness of the wild waves. Although it’s cool to hang out on the beach surfing the high waves, experiencing the thrills and chills of the turbulent waters. But when the ocean waves turn nasty, they can be daunting and frightening. Following are 25 of the most splendid and nerve-racking examples of wave photography for you to understand the concept and get inspired. |

Number 3 and 4 would fit to living room, a big picture on the wall. I like 11 and 9, how the sands gets into the water and 11th wave where the wave is getting into sandy alike area. I’d like to be sitting or lying down on the ground in wave 11. Especially having a digital camera and get some good shots.
