I won’t start this post listing the advantages a well designed business card contributes to a business. We all strive to represent ourselves and our brands in such an impressive way that people remember us for the lifetime. Whenever, we want to get an outstanding business card designed for our business, we look for skilled graphic designers. But have you ever wondered, how extraordinary could be the business cards of these creative gurus?
Therefore, I bring you an extensive compilation of business cards, belonging to well-known graphic designers. However, other cards are owned by not-so-famous graphic designers but the brilliant creativity is hard to ignore. |

Very nice collection! I like the variety of design and style – very important when looking for a bit of inspiration. Thanks!
-
All of them are creative and inspiring ! The ones that grabbed my attention are #10 and #26
-
What a GREAT collection of business cards! I guess I should get my @$$ in gear and get mine updated
Great article!
-
Love these cards! Very fun and unique designs
-
This article gave me some great ideas for my cards that I have been thinking about for weeks.
-
Nice. Thanks. You may visit http://www.cardonizer.com for more great business cards ideas.
-
Thanks Dear for sharing
As the cards belong to different categories like retro, clean etc.,its difficult to say. But my vote goes to:
1. # 34 Dexter Maneja
2. # 26 Ignertia
3. # 15 Rocking I Design
-
There’s some great cards in here, thanks for posting.
-
Excellent designs. I will try to design my own card as creative as these business cards are
-
Great collection!
My favorites are #19 and #35 simple and stunning in black and white!I’m working on my own card too, thanks for the inspiration.
-
oops… I meant #19 and #38, not #35
-
I like #3, #14 and #21
heres mine: http://creattica.com/business-cards/svengiesen-de/21447
-
On #17 It’s “Niki Brown”, not “Nike Brown”
-
Very cool. #19 is easily my favorite. Nice work!
-
awesome list. i follow many of these great people on twitter, cool to see their cards
-
Nice post Thanks.
-
Business card#24 is freakin awesome!
Also love business card#27 -collect all 4!

-
Nice post… business card#34 is awesome..
-
#24 #32 n #34 are gudd

These are some great examples of well designed business cards. I fond business cards one of the harder things to design. I feel the pressure to design something amazing and tactile but im hemmed in by loads of constraints like size shape and content. Its surprising really
-
Some interesting designs.
I particularly business cards 19 and 34.
-
Well some of these are really terribly bad if you ask me.
But of course, you don’t.
-
Always good to spot a collection of cards with different styles really helps show how varied cards can be – thanks for taking the time to collect them.
-
I really like the Ignertia card. However I could never get one of my customers to accept a truly grate modern design because it would be to much for them. Goodness know we have tried!
-
Number 2? Seriously? Hard to take this list seriously when that’s the second one from the top.
-
Nice list. Check these out as well http://ffffffive.com/inspiration/75-immaculate-business-cards/

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
-
i’m with donald nordog on this one. these are awful. i think one… maybe two are any good. people talk of unique or creative and only one isn’t ‘card shaped’ !
-
The great, the good, the bad and the ugly. Some are nice, others not so much. But over all nice selection. creativekiwie.com

My top fave is #24; my least fave is #4.
I appreciate #7″s cleverness- making his card look like one of the Railroad cards from the Monopoly game.
While I enjoy “out of the box” shapes and sizes- I always wonder if thats a good choice, since it would have to be folded in order to get it into a wallet or biz card holder…
I really like #19. Very sleek; clever having the paper pull down to reveal the coding… But if you don’t know anything about web design/coding; you may not get what he does- he doesn’t list “web designer” or any other job title. Example, the market I’m in is very slow to web- hand that to a feed store owner and chances are good he wouldn’t be able to tell what Colhoun does. … But then, if his target market for clients is not the local shops down the street, then, these cards may not be a problem.
I like #2 if he’s an illustrator or animator (and the back of the billboard does list illustration). I like the details- the back of the card has the backs of the lamps and birds.
#24 is also fun for an illustrator- shows a lot of creativity that you would hope to get from an illustrator.
As for the rest… Most are rather average. The only “innovative” thing being that they either have rounded or die cut corners… Or use exceptionally bright colors or use fancier card stock.
Overall, it’s fun to look at a wide range of biz card designs for inspiration.
-
I’m not too impressed. Check out the cards at http://www.itevenhasawatermark.com for some really remarkable cards (perhaps not from “top designers” but highly creative nonetheless).
-
i like few of concepts .. specially i like #26 and #06 these are different..
-
Very cool! I like #19 the most. Shame that many of the cards ignore the back portion – that’s prime marketing territory too.
-
These are all great examples of graphic design work at it’s best. So many creative ideas and styles, it’s hard to pick a favorite!

It is a really nice collection of these business cards. These are some gracefull examples of nice designed business cards.Keep it up.
-
A very interesting mix of styles and some unique solutions. I am in the midst of making my own card and these examples will definitely provide me with some inspiration. Thanks for posting this.
-
Wonderful gallery. Amazing what we can do with some font and some imagery. My present card went fairly minimal: http://miguelmuelle.com/bcard1.jpg
-
vote for 3 and 19.
the rest, is really nothing I would pay for.
3 will open doors. If you do not have the looks, 19 do the professional thing.

Top Graphic Designers?
What? Not a single one of these people are top graphic designers, and looking at these hideous cards, I’m baffled as to how you would think so.Absolutely awful…
-
Most of these cards were amazing, I’m not sure what makes someone a top graphic designer though, its an interesting debate. Is it the measure of success based on how big your clients are, how profile the work that you’ve done is, or weather you are “known”? Or does the graphic design community determine this in some way I’m not aware of via the blogsphere? It’s an interesting debate don’t you think?
-
I really enjoyed these and felt they were very well done.
-
The first card really catches my eye. It has really nice typography.
-
Some of these are really nice but some look like a kindergartner did them. And some of the ones that are nice, I went to the website and either have broken links or their art just plain sucks!
-
Nice Business Cards.I think graphic designers especially should have really creative business cards. Since they’re in the design industry their business cards should be a showcase of what they can do.

Gorgeous designs! thanks for sharing..
-
These must be some of the worst graphic designs of all time — and surely the business cards are among the lousiest and most unprofessional looking I’ve ever seen.
-
I LOVE #19 (the one with the corner pulled in to expose source code). Fresh, witty and looks sharp!
-
#19 is smart – I love the revealing of HTML beneath the surface!
#26 is also great, with the cloud of services. These cards are intelligent and representative rather than simply pretty.I like the aesthetics of some of the other cards but smart and relevant will win for me every time.
My own card was designed by a superb graphic designer ex-colleague and friend. I’m so pleased to see how well it stands up to this representative group of modern thinking (colours, intelligent description/representation of the business, use of space and use of the flipside etc.)
Thanks for sharing!
